Dr. Travis Dowdle

Dr. Travis Dowdle is a dermatology resident at the University of Texas Medical Branch, dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care with special interests in procedural and surgical dermatology. He has authored over 35 peer-reviewed publications, presented his work at national and regional meetings, and was named a 2026 Resident of Distinction, an honor awarded to only five dermatology residents nationwide. Dr. Dowdle earned his medical degree from Texas Tech where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and completed his undergraduate studies with honors at Utah State University. Outside of medicine, he enjoys golf, scuba diving, archery, college athletics, and spending time outdoors with his wife and dog.
