Purples & Blues

“At one point in life, most people are affected by some type of chronic or cosmetic skin condition that results in unsightly skin concerns such as vascular lesions, skin discolorations, or broken blood vessels. These issues can result in embarrassment, self-consciousness, and even a decreased quality of life. Our patients love the minimal downtime, rapid healing, and excellent results that are offered by Excel V treatments in our practice.

RECOVERY & RESULTS

The recovery process following Excel V Laser Treatments is minimal and varies from patient to patient. Most patients do report having slightly puffy skin for the 2 – 3 days following the procedure. If you have especially sensitive skin, you may experience slightly more downtime than normal.

As far as results are concerned, a substantial reduction in broken capillaries, redness, and brown spots is seen in most patients after only one treatment. To obtain optimal results, most people will decide to have 2 treatments, though those who are being treated for redness may need 3 or more treatments. The timing between treatments does vary and depend on a number of factors, but treatments spaced 1 – 2 months apart are normally ideal.
